Arched moon-dial made about 1800, or a little later, for Holdsworth of Halifax. The rural scene in the centre includes a similar cottage to that between the moons in the arch. Typical Whitaker hemisphere half-maps but with the latitude numbers cut off to suit a half-maps smaller dial
