Here resteth the Mortal
Remains of Thomas  Rigge,
of Halifax, yeoman, (son of the late Thomas Rigge
and grandson of the late William Rigge,
yeoman, Fallowroyde, Wadsworth, for some
time constable of Halifax and churchwarden
of this parish, baptised at Heptonstall church,
13th October 1616, interred 20th March 1666-7.
     
Also of Thomas  Rigge, of Halifax,
yeoman, (son of Abraham Rigge and nephew
of the above named Thomas Rigge),
who was interred 6th October 1689,
aged 35 years.
     
Also of Elizabeth, the beloved wife of
Thomas Rigge of Halifax, gentleman,
and eldest daughter of the late
Edward Wainhouse of Skircoat, gentleman, who was interred 20th April 1714.
     
Also of the said Thomas  Rigge,
of Halifax, gentleman, (son of the above
named Thomas  Rigge), for some time
churchwarden of this parish, baptised
20th February 1686-7, died suddenly 1st April 1716.
     
Also of Elizabeth, daughter of the
above named Thomas Rigge of Halifax,
gentlewoman, who was interred 29th
September 1736, aged 22 years.
     
Also of Thomas Rigge, of Savile Green,
Halifax, gentleman, (son of the above
Thomas Rigge and Elizabeth Rigge,
his wife), baptised 13th July 1712
and interred 2nd April 1745.
     
To the memory of Thomas Rigge,
of Southwark, gentleman, (eldest son
of the above Thomas and Elizabeth Rigge),
baptised 20th June, 1735, died at Southwark 1773.
     
Also of Joseph Rigge, of Halifax, (second
son of the above named Thomas and
Elizabeth Rigge), baptised 7th January 1737
and was interred 30th October 1775.
     
Also of John Rigge, (a younger son of
the above named Thomas and Elizabeth
Rigge), who was interred 27th May 1741,
aged two years.


Also of Elizabeth, the beloved
daughter of the said Joseph Rigge,
born 5th April 1760, died 31st July 1763.
     
Also of Elizabeth, relict of the
said Joseph Rigge, who died 15th
February 1831, aged 94 years.
     
Also of Susanna, the daughter
of Samuel Taylor and Mary Rigge,
of Halifax, who died 9th July 1820,
aged 20 years.
     
Also of the said Mary, wife of
Samuel Taylor Rigge, who died
12th February 1823, aged 54 vears.
     
Also of Joseph Pilling, son of
the above Samuel Taylor and
Mary Rigge, who died at Kingston,
Jamaica, 26th July 1831, aged 27 years.
     
Also of the above
Samuel Taylor Rigge,
who departed this life 22nd July
1832, aged 68 years.
     
Also of Harriet, the beloved
wife of Christopher Taylor Rigge
of Halifax, gentleman, who died
8th March 1881, aged 70 years.
     
Also of the above
Christopher Taylor Rigge,
who died 5th June 1886,
aged 78 years,
who were both interred at
All Saints' church, Salterhebble.
     
And of Samuel Taylor Rigge,
(only son of the above named
Christopher Taylor and Harriet Rigge),
who died 25th September 1889,
aged 60 years.
His body lies in the church-yard
of All Saints', Salerhebble
