Eastgate. Originally a row of 4 cottages.

This was originally a beer house.

Opened in 1890.

The Ivy was owned by Emma Elizabeth Jackson [1895].

When Emma died [1904], the Ivy was sold Bentley's Yorkshire Breweries Limited, Leeds.

The pub closed in 1910 following the Licensing Act [1904].

The licensee was transferred to here from the King of Prussia [mid-1800s].

It was a Stocks pub [1905] and then transferred to Samuel Webster.
