The Halifax Courier [19th November 1915] reported his death with a photograph.

He was buried at Talana Farm Cemetery, Belgium [Grave Ref IV D 15].

He is remembered on the Memorial at Elland Constitutional Club, on the Memorial at Saint Mary the Virgin, Elland, and on the Memorial at All Saints' Church, Elland.

by drowning himself at Mixenden.
